Sizer Guarding

Hello,

I have several tubing sizers that we are looking to guard the pinch points on. I am considering an inductive proximity (metal detecting) at the opening of the sizer. This would prevent the machine from cycling unless there was a tube inserted into the machine. Would this be exceptable? Do I need more than one prox switch for redundancy?
